If you are tired of chaos and hustle of city life and desperately seeking some mental peace then you must visit Tendrabong, a small hamlet near Kalimpong. And obviously stay at Prothom Alo Homestay where Mr. Amit Sarkar and his better half is leaving no stone unturned in giving you the best hospitality and memorable stay experience. তেন্ড্রাবং যাওয়ার পাহাড়ি রাস্তা বেশ ভালো ও নিরাপদ, ড্রাইভ করতে করতে মাঝে মাঝে মেঘ গায়ে মিশে আসে – যেন পথই আপনাকে স্বাগত জানাচ্ছে। শেষ কয়েক কিলোমিটার পাহাড়ি হলেও সহজেই গাড়ি নিয়ে পৌঁছানো যায় এবং পুরো যাত্রাটাই হয়ে ওঠে রোমাঞ্চকর ও দৃশ্যত মনোমুগ্ধকর।
হোমস্টেতে পৌঁছানোর পর চারদিকের নিস্তব্ধ পাহাড়, সবুজের সমারোহ আর খোলা আকাশের নিচে শান্ত বাতাস মনকে ছুঁয়ে যায়। পরিষ্কার আবহাওয়ায় এখান থেকে নাথুলা রেঞ্জ ও কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘার রূপ দেখা সত্যিই এক অপার্থিব অভিজ্ঞতা।
অমিত দার আন্তরিকতা ও অতিথিপরায়ণতা প্রশংসনীয়। আর সোমদত্তা দির হাতের রান্না সত্যিই ‘পৃথিবীর সেরা স্বাদ’—ঘরোয়া অথচ অপূর্ব, প্রতিটি খাবারে ভালোবাসা ও আন্তরিকতার ছোঁয়া অনুভব হয়। ঘরগুলি খুব পরিষ্কার, আরামদায়ক এবং প্রকৃতির খুব কাছাকাছি থাকার এক স্বর্গীয় অনুভূতি দেয়।
এই হোমস্টে শুধুমাত্র থাকার জায়গা নয়, এটি আত্মার বিশ্রাম, প্রকৃতির কাছে ফিরে আসা, এবং মানুষ ও প্রকৃতির মিলিত সুরের এক শান্ত আশ্রয়।

পাহাড় ডাকে নীরব সুরে,
মেঘের কাঁথায় ঘুম পাড়িয়ে,
প্রকৃতি বলে আস্তে হেসে—
“এখানেই থাকো, মন দিয়ে।”

সবুজ পথে হাঁটে হাওয়া,
মনের মাঝে স্বপ্ন জাগে,

প্রথম আলোর ডাকে ☀️

প্রকৃতির কোলে জাগে প্রথম আলোর গান,
মেঘের চাদর ভেঙে হাসে সবুজ পাহাড়ের প্রাণ।
পাইনের ঘ্রাণে ভেসে যায় মন,
ঝরনার সুরে বাজে জীবনধ্বনন।

সূর্যের কিরণে লেগে সোনার ছোঁয়া,
পাখিরা গায় নতুন দিনের কথা বোঝা।
এমন দৃশ্য দেখে মন হয় পাগল,
এই স্বর্গের কোণে হারাই নির্ভয় আগল।

মানুষের ভিড়ে এমন শান্তি কই?
এখানে নীরবতা গান হয়ে রই।

I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Prothom Alo and consider myself lucky enough to get to know about this place and spend few days here.
If you want to spend few days away from city's hustle with your family in a homestay surrounded by lush green mountain landscape and want to feel every bit of nature, then Prothom Alo in Tendrabong is the ideal place. The location of the homestay will surely enchant you and you surely will not want to leave the place. If you are lucky enough, can witness Nathula range from the homestay's patio (most attractive space of the homestay)
On top of this, most important part to highlight is the variety of food items cooked by Somdatta di herself. So, you are not going to miss homecooked food while spending time with family away from home. And you will be impressed by the warm hospitality of the homestay owners Amit da and Somdatta di who make you feel less guests more like family. They are fulfilling our dream of living life in hills amidst nature while feeling like home.

This homestay is not only a peaceful abode but also, a place filled with love , laughs and comfortness. We were lucky to have such a great experience . It would all be incomplete without Amit uncle and Somlata unty. Their behaviour towards the guest not only helped them but also in a way comforted them. প্রথম আলো হোমস্টে, তেন্দ্রাবং –

পাহাড়ের কোলে এক অসাধারণ অভিজ্ঞতা তেন্দ্রাবং-এর নিরিবিলি পাহাড়ি গ্রামে প্রথম আলো হোমস্টে যেন এক টুকরো শান্তির ঠিকানা। সকালবেলার কুয়াশা, বারান্দা থেকে পাহাড়ের দৃশ্য আর পাখির ডাক — সব মিলিয়ে মনে হয়, সময় যেন একটু থেমে গেছে।অমিত দা আর বৌদি এত মিষ্টি মানুষ, যাঁদের আতিথেয়তা সত্যিই মনে দাগ কাটে। হাসিমুখে তাঁরা প্রতিটি অতিথিকে যেভাবে যত্ন করেন, তাতে মনে হয় আপনি হোমস্টেতে না বরং নিজের আত্মীয়ের বাড়িতেই আছেন।খাবারগুলো একেবারে হৃদয় ছোঁয়া — ঘরোয়া রান্না, কিন্তু পাহাড়ি স্পর্শে ভরপুর। প্রতিদিনের খাবারে এমন ভালোবাসা ও মমতা ছিল, যা আজকাল শহরে খুব কমই মেলে।সন্ধ্যাবেলায় গরম চা হাতে বসে পাহাড়ের আকাশের রঙ বদলানো দেখা – সেই অনুভূতি ভাষায় বোঝানো যায় না। এই হোমস্টে শুধু একটা থাকার জায়গা নয়, এটা এমন এক অভিজ্ঞতা যা মনকে হালকা করে দেয়। প্রথম আলো হোমস্টে মানেই সুন্দর দৃশ্য, দারুণ খাবার আর নিখাদ ভালোবাসায় ভরা মানুষের গল্প। একবার গেলে, মনে হবে আবার আসতে হবে!
